Ingredients:
2 ripe pears sliced
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon Stonebarn Black Truffle Honey
6 cups mixed greens (spinach or rocket)
½ cup crumbled blue cheese
¼ cup walnuts or pecans
¼ cup of thinly sliced red onion
¼ cup dried cranberries
2 tablespoons balsamic glaze (or balsamic vinaigrette)
Instructions
1. Caramelise the pears – In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the sliced pears and drizzle with Stonebarn Black Truffle Honey. Cook for 3–5 minutes, turning gently, until golden and slightly softened. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
2. Prepare the base – Arrange the mixed greens on a serving platter or in individual bowls. Layer the flavours – Scatter over the caramelised pears, crumbled blue cheese, walnuts (or pecans), red onion slices, and dried cranberries.
3. Dress with elegance – Drizzle with Stonebarn Black Truffle Honey and a swirl of balsamic glaze (or vinaigrette) just before serving. Serve & enjoy – Toss lightly, if desired, and savour the balance of sweet, savoury, and earthy flavours.
